The very first time using the Zielonka Smellkiller

Before using the Smellkiller for the very first time, remember to wash it thoroughly under warm running water with a fat-soluble detergent, or place it in the dishwasher ready for the next load.

When you use the Smellkiller for the first time, please give it 5-6 hours to develop its full effectiveness. But that only applies for the first time! Afterwards the Smellkiller is constantly at work providing you with fresh air.

After you have washed the Smellkiller, place it in its bowl and fill with just enough water so that the entire top surface of the Smellkiller is not covered and remains in contact with air.

Tip: Don’t turn your Smellkiller into a submarine! One of the top surfaces must remain in continuous contact with air, otherwise the Smellkiller won’t work. Please remember not to submerge your Smellkiller under water.
